1. About this policy
This Cookie Policy explains how Trexo Robotics uses cookies and similar technologies (such as browser localStorage) on eu.trexorobotics.com. It supplements our Privacy Policy, which describes how we process personal data more broadly.
The data controller for this website is Trexo Robotics Inc. (6705 Millcreek Dr, Unit 3, Mississauga, Ontario, Canada L5N 5M4). For billing and contracting activities in the EU/UK, Trexo Robotics Europe Sp. z o.o. (ul. Bobrowiecka 8, II piętro, 00-728 Warszawa, Polska) acts as a separate controller. You can reach us at privacy@trexorobotics.com.
2. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. We also use similar technologies such as browser localStorage, which stores small pieces of data in your browser. In this policy, “cookies” refers to both unless we say otherwise.
Cookies set by eu.trexorobotics.com are first-party cookies. Cookies set by other domains loaded from our pages (such as Google Analytics or Cloudflare) are third-party cookies.
3. Legal basis
Under EU/UK ePrivacy rules and the GDPR, we rely on two legal bases for cookies:
- Strictly necessary cookies are stored on the basis of our legitimate interest in providing the site you requested, and are exempt from the consent requirement under the ePrivacy Directive.
- All other cookies (analytics and marketing) are stored only with your prior consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and the ePrivacy Directive as transposed into national law). You can withdraw your consent at any time using the “Open cookie preferences” button above.
4. Cookies we use
4.1 Strictly necessary
These are required for the website to work. They cannot be switched off.
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Type | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| trexo-eu-consent | eu.trexorobotics.com | Stores your cookie consent choices so we don't prompt you on every page. | localStorage | 12 months |
| trexo-eu-locale | eu.trexorobotics.com | Remembers your language preference (EN, FR, ES) across visits and between SSR and client rendering. | Cookie (HTTP) | 12 months |
| trexo_first_touch_v1 | eu.trexorobotics.com | Stores first-touch attribution (UTM parameters, referrer, landing page) so we can credit how you discovered Trexo if you later submit an enquiry. No advertising identifiers. | localStorage | 12 months |
| trexo_global_banner_dismissed_v1 | eu.trexorobotics.com | Remembers that you closed the European region banner so we don't keep showing it. | localStorage | Until cleared |
| sb-* (auth tokens) | eu.trexorobotics.com (Supabase) | Keeps you signed in to authenticated areas of the site, when applicable. | localStorage | Until sign-out or token expiry |
| __cf_bm | Cloudflare | Distinguishes humans from bots to protect the site from abuse. Set on network requests routed through Cloudflare. | Cookie (HTTP) | 30 minutes |
| cf_chl_* / cf_clearance | Cloudflare Turnstile | Used by the Cloudflare Turnstile anti-bot challenge on our contact and brochure forms to verify you are a human. | Cookie (HTTP) | Session / up to 30 days |
4.2 Analytics (consent required)
We use Google Analytics 4 (property ID G-59NCDHTTNP) to understand, in aggregate, how visitors use the site so we can improve it. Analytics cookies are only set after you grant consent. We have enabled Google Consent Mode v2: until you consent, analytics, advertising, ad-personalisation, and ad-user-data storage are all set to denied, and we apply ads_data_redaction and url_passthrough.
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Type | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| _ga | Google (Google Analytics 4) | Assigns a pseudonymous identifier used to distinguish unique visitors for aggregate audience reporting. | Cookie (HTTP) | 2 years |
| _ga_59NCDHTTNP | Google (Google Analytics 4) | Persists the session state for our specific GA4 property (G-59NCDHTTNP). | Cookie (HTTP) | 2 years |
4.3 Marketing
We do not set any marketing or advertising cookies on this site. There is no Marketing toggle in the cookie preferences panel. If we ever introduce marketing cookies, we will update this policy, add a dedicated category, and re-prompt you for consent before setting them.
5. Third-party recipients and international transfers
Some cookies are set by third parties that act as independent controllers or processors. These providers may process your data outside the EU/EEA/UK, including in the United States. Where personal data is transferred outside the EU/EEA/UK, we rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and the EU–US Data Privacy Framework (where the provider is certified), together with supplementary technical and organisational measures.
- Google LLC / Google Ireland Ltd — Google Analytics 4. See Google's privacy policy.
- Cloudflare, Inc. — bot management and CDN protection. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
- Google Fonts — web font delivery. Google Fonts does not set cookies on this site but receives your IP address as part of the standard HTTP request.
6. Managing your preferences
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time using the “Open cookie preferences” button at the top of this page. Your choice is stored for 12 months, after which we will ask you again.
You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers let you refuse cookies entirely, accept only first-party cookies, or delete cookies when you close the browser. Doing so may affect how the site works.
We currently do not respond to browser Do Not Track signals or the Global Privacy Control (GPC) as a separate consent mechanism, because our cookie banner already provides a granular consent choice that meets EU/UK requirements.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port, and object to the processing of your personal data, and to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. These rights are described in full in our Privacy Policy.
8. Children
This website is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly set non-essential cookies for users we know to be under 16 without parental consent.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the cookies we use or in applicable law. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page indicates when it was last revised. Material changes will be brought to your attention via the cookie banner.
